The 6-pack
Supplies:
- Cardboard 6-pack holders
- Shred
- Zip ties
Small items such as paper cups, beads, coin wraps, drilled wood, finger traps, straws, vine wreath, bells. . . anything you can poke a hole in or attach with a zip tie.
Tools:
- Scissors
- Hole punch
Step 1
Give the 6-pack container more stability by punching holes in the bottom and sides and zip tying these together.
Step 2
Punch holes around the top edge of 6-pack holder.
Ste 3
Zip tie toys through the holes.
Step 4
Stuff with shred. Use an old shredder that cuts the paper in thin strips. I also added a bell.
Step 5
Hide nuts inside, or attach paper cups and hide a treat where your bird can see it to encourage her to forage.
Step 6
Hang it in the cage with a zip tie.
